At first the bat felt soft with no serious pop but after getting about 50 good swings out of it the ball flies off the barrel. I find that I cannot swing this bat too fast as the ball does rebound as well but once you adjust your swing the bat works great. I find that I can drive balls hard and fast down the line with this bat. I haven't found my homerun stroke with this bat yet but likely the batter rather than the bat. The finish and surface on the bat is not as durable as I would have liked but doesn't appear to impeded performance. There isn't that distinctive knock sound with this bat which is OK as it can deceive some outfielders who gauge distance on sound as well as sight. I would rate this bat as one of my better purchases.
