left, if your knees are bothing you, I would surmise that the treadmil isn't going to help that situation much.

As for the babysitter, she is a nice lady. My kids love her though and she is very good with them.

Why would I, when I wake to this?

IMO, i'm doing the P90 and have seen the insanity video. I can at least maintain the P90 in a normal lifestyle ie.. wife, kid, work... There is no way that I would be able to serousily devote that type of commitment to the insanity workout, or I bet that if you did this, you would not be able to maintain it. I don't like his philosophy much, hell--if I went outside and sprinted for as long and fast as I could until I uked, I would obviously lose weight. But I guess that wouldn't sell many videos would it?

Actually, it is maintainable. It's 45-60 minutes for a workout. Once you get to where you want to be, you don't have to kill yourself to keep it there. You could go at 80% and not be puking, and maintain your body where it was at, with a short workout. Perfectly do-able.

I also feel like the puking is a little excessive. I understand every now and then a workout will get you, but you have to schedule your eating around it to help the cause. The fit test bothered me, but I didn't puke. I've been through basketball conditioning in college, had a JC coach like Bobby Knight, and he only made me puke once and that day we ran sprints for an hour and a half straight, no water, with two sets of guys running in alternating sets. All because some jackass who got cut a week later missed a class lol

well you don't count......you're doing weigts three times a week, you're doing insanity and now, apparrantly, you do "multiple" mornign runs.....right along side superman

The second quote is what I was thinking. Isn't p90x mostly over an hour a video? I know my insanity videos are around 45mins.. so by my calculations.. insanity is less of a commitment.

lol, my transformation album doesn't lie, lol.

but regardless, just do the workouts and you will be happy with the results, as long as you watch your diet at the same time and eat lean.

I am trying a 2 on / 1 off training with the P90X routine. On the off day, I am using the Insanity workouts for my cardio. Although PRIMO will say this is impossible, I have already been doing it for a week, and plan on doing it the whole summer. Now......I also have the summer off, so I can stagger my workouts by doing cardio in the morning, and lifting later. It is totally possible, if you are an athlete.

I lifted serious weights since I was 20 years old, so the P90X workouts are not tough. The only one that gives me trouble is the Plyo dvd, because jumping bothers my back a little. I have to modify some of the harder jumps, as I do with the Insanity.....but all in all, I bring it, and excercise hard. This is also why I am still able to play OF on D/C tourney teams down here in the South FL sun and humidity.........because I work out during the week and push myself to keep up with the 20s on my softball team (I am pushing 42).

PRIMO.........just because you can't do it, don't tell others they can't. Just because you think I can't, makes me want to push even harder.......

if you do insanity and you actually try to keep pace and push yourself, you're goling to throw up....a lot. it's a series of movements and jumps you've never done before and is going to be harder than anything you've done. I compared it to the first week of college football where they tried to run off all the straglers by starting the week w/ 50, 50 yard dashes etc....

"do insanity and lift 3 times a week"....gimme a fricin' break. unless you'r a triathlete, this aint' gonna work....

i did it for a month straight and the only time i almost threw up was in the shower after my first fit test. I did the workout every night and changed my diet, i definately saw improvements in the workout, but didnt lose any weight.

i should add that my wife did insanity for 2 months and lost 17 lbs and an inch and a half off the waist, so it def. worked for her.

I'm down 50lbs using p90x.... it's all about what YOUR goals are.. you can cut weight with p90x OR build muscle.... all about reps and weights used also your nutrition plan. Insanity is awesome...all their programs work.... it's just what suites YOU best. hardest part is getting motivated to keep pressing play.
