I just heard that the WSL might take out the West Coast Championships and only have the Panama City tournaments.

When will a decision will be made

If a team fits the matrix how is it sandbagging? They're not cheating. Talk to WSL if you have an issue.

one world would be nice, we only had 40 teams in asa wsl C the first weekend in panama city this year, down from like 85 the year before BUT i think wsl going to a usssa and an asa bat world casued that...

Sandbagging is everywhere...Texas is good at it..so is Michigan and Cali for that matter, but the "Matrix" is where softball has gone wrong..if you are C in USSSA then you should be C across the board...what underhand in one sanction is tougher in the other? NOPE..it's still underhand! I play from C to E, fit the matrix, but just have fun..not like we are on scholarship or pro! I have been on sponsored teams and the problem is, people 4get this is a rec sport for fun! Keep that in mind...Stay ballin'...WU

All good points the reason they are talking about moving venues is because of lack of support in Reno from players. The first year they had several teams show up and this year the numbers were down. But they are saying possibly due to the weather but I think it may have more to do with the Economy then it did the weather.

Not only that but they had it on the same weekend as NSA worlds. They need to have it in late September and actually promote WSL. It's tough to take a "Worlds" seriously when anyone can sign up for and you never have to actually play it to earn a berth. WSL doesn't exist in Norcal so very few people actually know about it. "Worlds" in Reno is a Norcal backyarder with a better prize package. Utrip, NSA and ASA all hold a true worlds event. A western worlds with no berth process isn't actually a worlds.
