going into the 8 pm game sat night at the asa c fastpitch national swashbucklers are undefeated . from what i seen have seens so far they should win it all

i was there and saw all of they games, after i saw the first game told that they would win it all. big pitcher pitched all there games today.only thing he need now is a good knuckle ball , they will to move up to class b in ASA .they will do well , but it will take them about 2-3 years to win the ASA B fast pitch national. I AM GLAD THAT THEY WON IT.

Congratulations to Gillie's from Midland MI for winning the 2010 ASA 10 Man Modified Pitch National Championship. They played a great tournament and battled throughout the entire weekend. I know they won at least 2, if not 3 games while trailing in the bottom of the 7th inning. I can't wait to play you guys again 5-6 times next season. LOL.

I hear the 2011 ASA modified nationals are scheduled to be in WI, but the rumor on the street is that the host city is trying to back out of the bid. I guess how it works now, is it that $200 of every $400 team entry goes to ASA. That leaves $200 per team for the host city as a budget to pay for the tournament including umpire expenses. Cobb County told me they are going to lose about $5-6k this year, but it hopefully gets offset by increased business and tax revenue by having all of the teams in town. That's their justification anyways. In addition, ASA did away with the travel money prize for the top 3 teams.

I hope that a city/state in the midwest (i.e. MI, NY, PA) steps up and tries to get next years bid. If you put it in the midwest, I would think that it would draw considerably more teams and the host city would have a better chance of breaking even.

Congrats to you guys too, winning it last year and second place this year is impressive. The championship game couldn't have been any closer

We played the worst softball I have seen since I have been part of the team. We lost both games and it is very disappointing to end the season playing the way we did. There were a few people who should have never been in the lineup and you cannot expect to win committing 10 errors per game.

That doesn't sound like you had very much fun. Keep me in mind if you guys go to another tourney.

Definitely not it... unless you thought I was looking for web hosting. It's a good thing you can hit better than you can read #4.
