How Much Do You Pay Umps

Just had a meeting with our umpire crew-what a mess. We are a no bunt/steal 10 Man B League and pay our umps $35 per game. If umps show up and then cancel the game without any pitches being thrown, they get a $15 Travel Stipend. If a agme has started and then cancelled, they receive the full $35 PLUS $35 when they do the make up game. In conversations I have had with some of the umps they claim this is one of the better paying leagues in the area. Tonight the Umpire President demanded a raise and full pay even if games are not played and the umps show. I know this thread reaches a wide variety of places, but what are your umps pais per game?

same in my league, except you still pay if the other team forfeits and the umps show.

LOL, I have to start calling on the east coast. Granted your cost of living is much higher than Colorado Springs, CO but I get $17 a game (we call two man so $34 total for two of us), $7.50 show fee if the game is canceled.

Fastpitch tournament umpiring is better - $25 a game + travel money + lodging (if needed).

Lancaster County PA, we use ASA umpires and they just raised their rates from $28 to $30 /game. They did lock it in at $30 though, that they wouldnt raise them next year.
